For the last couple of months, I’ve been on the hunt for the ideal bathtub for my Master Bedroom/Bath addition. The cast iron options were going for over $2500, and they were only 12 to 14 inches deep, with even higher prices for deeper models. I was really looking for a drop-in tub, but the deeper ones were mostly freestanding from other brands.
Carver caught my eye because they offer a BISCUIT color (Sherwood Williams Color 6385) and have a lot of features that other brands like Kohler, American Standard, and TOTO just don’t have. It felt like the luxury tub I was after. Plus, the insulation they put between the mortar and the tub helps keep the heat in, which is a nice bonus.
I’d say do your homework and then go with Carver if you’re after an acrylic tub packed with new features and comfort, all at a fair price. Carver really delivers with their fantastic product. The built-in drainage system is a genius concept, honestly. Being a remodeler, I can say this setup has cut down our installation time significantly.

Dealing with this company was just awful. They provided me with the incorrect spec sheet for the tub and gave me the wrong info on how many outlets I needed for the installation. Because of that, I ended up quoting my homeowner incorrectly, and we were totally unprepared for the install. Thanks to Carver Tub's carelessness, I felt like a complete idiot. When I reached out for some financial help to cover the mess, they were tough to deal with and didn’t really want to assist me. I won’t be using Carver Tubs again. I’m only sharing this review because I got an email asking for feedback, and I was really disappointed with the small amount of money they offered me—it didn’t even cover half of the extra electrical work needed to make the tub functional. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the offer, and they told me I was lucky to get anything at all. Plus, I had to call multiple times just to get them to refund the money to my card.

Really nice to work with. The package showed up right on schedule, just like they said, and everything went smoothly.
